For most people the wedding ceremony is incomplete without a standard wedding cake. I mean there are the traditional multi-level cakes with pillars and so on, but now days there are very interesting alternatives such as themed cake with individualized toppers. By toppers I am referring to the figurines on top of the cake which usually come in the form of a bride and a groom. However the problem with these wedding cake toppers is that they are standardized and do not accurately reflect the people getting married. What is important is that the wedding is a clear reflection of the people getting married and as a result the colors, design, and the toppers should be special and unique. Perhaps a new couple should consider getting a personalized topper that looks like the bride and groom in that it reflects their skin color, hair, clothing and so on. You can find listings online and the price for ordering them is not that expensive.

I was sure the shower I was throwing for my sister was gonna be a bust. I went shopping for party accessories and decorations at the department store and the mall. But the prices were ridiculous and my budget couldn’t handle it. I was about to give up and call the whole thing off, when a friend of mine clued me in to online shopping. The party supply store, she told me about, had tons of accessories and decorations for the shower. I found a lot of great deals and a variety of gift ideas. I was even able to buy each guest two of the baby shower favors. That really helped out my budget. What I thought was going to be a catastrophe, turned out to be a success.
